The Role:

Our program currently cares for a small group of around five children per day, aged between 6 months and 5 years. This smaller group size allows our educators to meaningfully engage with each child. We are a small, supportive team that values collaboration and new ideas to ensure we continue providing the highest quality of care.

This position is permanent part-time, offering 20 hours per week, with shifts rostered between 6:30am and 5:15pm, Monday to Friday. With additional hours available during school holiday periods.

: As a Childcare educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care for children. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being, of the children under your supervision. Your duties will include:

- Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts.

- Implementing and conducting activities from the curriculum.





- Responding promptly and appropriately to children's needs and behaviour.

- Maintaining a safe and clean workplace by adhering to health and safety regulations and cleaning up throughout the day.

- Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their child's activities and well-being.

- Caring for children aged 0-5 during the school term and children aged 5-12 during school holidays.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Essential:

- Certificate III Early Childhood Education & Care (Completed or studying)

- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
