Task & responsibilities As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and delivering high-quality educational programs.

Your responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences. Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Creating a calm, inspiring environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.

Documenting children’s development and celebrating their achievements. Supporting the centre’s philosophy and continuous improvement goals. Mentoring team members and contributing to a positive team culture.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and frameworks. Qualification & experience What we’re looking for: Proactive, passionate, and ready to grow with us.

A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent. Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.

A valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card). Up-to-date Child Protection training.

Strong knowledge of the NQF and EYLF. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A genuine love for early childhood education and a commitment to lifelong learning.

About Company Simply Sunshine is a community based not-for-profit organisation located in the town of Moranbah just a few short hours from the vast and beautiful coastline of Queensland. Our service provides care for 80 children per day in our long day care centre. Simply Sunshine has been providing high quality care to the children and families of Moranbah for more than 30 years valuing the professionalism of all our educators in ways that make work fun!
