Here’s your opportunity to join the Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) team at North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre (NSVSC) a dynamic, supportive, and highly skilled hospital located on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.

About Us North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre (NSVSC) is one of Australia's most established multidisciplinary referral hospitals, proudly co-located with the historic North Shore Veterinary Hospital (est. 1935). We are a 24/7 referral and emergency facility offering specialist-led services in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Dentistry, and Exotics, supported by a progressive GP practice and dedicated nursing team. Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility (opened in 2019) features:

- Comprehensive in-house laboratory - Advanced diagnostic imaging (2 ultrasound suites, digital X-ray, 128-slice GE CT scanner, MRI installed in 2022) - Dedicated ICU with cot bed, oxygen cages, mechanical ventilators, bedside blood gas, thromboelastography,



and a feline blood bank The Opportunity This casual role is perfect for veterinarians who want flexibility without compromising on professional growth.You’ll gain hands-on exposure to diverse ECC cases in a specialist-led environment, supported by a passionate team of nurses and clinicians. Doolin, you’ll refine your clinical skills, strengthen your case management, and grow your confidence in a collaborative, learning-focused hospital.

About You

We'd love to hear from you if you:

- Hold a BVSc, DVM, or equivalent, with eligibility for registration in NSW - Have at least 3 years' clinical experience (ECC or emergency experience highly regarded, but not essential) - Are confident, compassionate, and calm under pressure - Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional patient care

Are driven to continue learning and advancing your emergency medicine skills
