Burke Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Economic & Community Development Administration Officer to support initiatives that strengthen our community, promote tourism, encourage economic growth and deliver engaging events. From coordinating events and supporting grant projects to creating communications and engaging with community groups, no two days are the same.
Responsibilities - Support community engagement, events and tourism initiatives.
- Assist with economic development projects and grant applications.
- Prepare promotional material, newsletters and social media content.
- Coordinate community consultations and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide high-quality administrative support across the department. About the Candidate - Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong administration and computer skills.

- Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

- Level 3-4 under the Burke Shire Council Certified Agreement ($70,942-$75,328 p.a.), plus applicable allowances and 12.5% employer superannuation.
