Educational Leader – New Service

Giggle and Learn Early Childcare and Education PYMBLE is excited to announce that we are looking for an experienced and passionate teacher to join us as our Educational Leader (EL).

You will work closely alongside our Centre Director and play an influential role in inspiring, motivating, affirming and advancing the practice and pedagogy of educators. The successful candidate will oversee our holistic educational program and mentor educators to best support children in reaching their educational potential.

Our 62-place service is modern, and vastly resourced, ready for a strong Educational Leader to drive high-quality and meaningful practice within the service.

The successful applicant will assist in building the confidence and capability of our growing team, ensuring that children are paramount in every operational decision within the service. In addition to strong professional relationships with educators, our Educational Leader will build core connections with children and families enrolled out our service and the surrounding community. This is a hybrid role on and off the floor.

About you

· Minimum 2 years’ experience within a leadership role

· Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred – ACEEQA approved Diploma considered

· A thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework,



the National Quality Standards, Government Laws and Regulations, & the Early Years Learning Framework in practice

· Strong understanding of Child Protected practices and the Child Safe standards

· A positive, proactive and solutions-based attitude toward leadership

· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

· Competence with OWNA preferred but not mandatory

· Current Approved Working with Children Check

· Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate/s (ACECQA Approved).

· Child Protection Certificate

· Food Handlers Certificate
