Joy Early Learning

About Us

Joy Early Learning exists for families who believe childhood should be joyful, curiosity-led, and packed with play.

Our centres are built for movement, discovery, and connection, with nature-rich play spaces, engaging educators, and a sense of belonging you can feel from the moment you step inside.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all early learning. We believe in real moments, big wonder, and learning that happens naturally. Because when children feel happy, safe, and free to explore, the best kind of learning just happens.

Following the successful opening of our first centre in Ripley in 2025, we're excited to be expanding with three brand-new services opening in 2026. Joy Aura is now proudly welcoming children, families, and passionate educators to our growing community. This is your opportunity to join our founding team and help shape the culture, environment, and experiences from day one.

About the role

We’re looking for enthusiastic and qualified Educators to join our growing team. At Joy, you’ll help create play-rich, child-led experiences that celebrate curiosity and connection. You’ll work alongside a supportive team and play a big part in making our centre feel warm and welcoming.

As someone with a passion for early childhood education, you’ll have an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF), and be committed to nurturing environments where children feel safe, seen, and excited to explore.

As part of the Joy Early Learning team, you will:

Assistant Educator

- Under supervision, assist in delivering daily programs that support children’s care and learning

- Build trusting and respectful relationships with children and support their individual needs
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and families
- Support educators with documentation and preparation of learning spaces
- Collaborate with the team to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Follow centre policies and safety procedures diligently

About you

We’re looking for candidates who have relevant qualifications for the role:

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, Diploma or working towards a formal qualification
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- A valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Up-to-date with Child Protection training
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for early childhood education
- A proactive attitude and commitment to professional growth

Why Joy?

Here, you’re not just an educator. You’re a storytelling pro, co-explorer, and curiosity champion. And you’ll be part of a team that celebrates childhood exactly as it is: messy, magical, and full of possibility.

At Joy, you’ll find:

- A supportive organisation that values innovation and excellence in early childhood education
- A beautifully designed centre where play takes centre stage
- Contemporary, thoughtfully designed learning spaces and resources to support your teaching
- Opportunities to make a truly positive impact in a dynamic and welcoming community
- Opportunities for professional growth and development
- A collaborative team culture where your voice and ideas are valued
- A chance to shape a centre from the ground up and leave your mark in meaningful ways
