Future Energy Skills is looking for industry professionals to join our team as Industry Trainers.
You do not need previous teaching, training or education experience to apply.
We're seeking someone with a current electrical licence, industry knowledge and a genuine interest in supporting the electrical industry. If you're a trade professional who enjoys coaching apprentices, explaining concepts, and helping people succeed, we can provide the support and mentoring to help you thrive in a training role.
While training qualifications and previous training experience are highly valued, they are not essential. We are committed to developing the right person through structured mentoring, professional development, and ongoing support from an experienced team of trainers and educators.
What we're looking for
- A current A-Grade Electrical Licence.
- Strong industry experience and technical credibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
- A genuine desire to support and develop others.
What we offer
- Comprehensive mentoring and support to transition into training.
- Assistance to obtain training and assessment qualifications where required.
- Opportunities for ongoing professional development.
- A collaborative team environment that values innovation and continuous learning.
- The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the electrical industry.
- Market-competitive salary packaging.
If you've ever enjoyed helping apprentices, explaining how things work, or seeing others succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
Whether you're an experienced trainer or a licensed electrician considering a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
This is a permanent full time position based at Future Energy Skill’s industry training centre located in Clayton (near Monash University).
