About the Role:

We’re looking for an Electrical Outage Works Planner to support our Distribution team in Hallam. This role is responsible for outage planning, scheduling and coordinating field works to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client requirements.

You’ll work closely with internal teams, contractors and network providers to ensure all approvals, resources and access requirements are in place before works commence.

Location & Work Arrangement:

- Based in Hallam
- Full time requirement to be on site

Your Role & Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and coordinate works across electrical distribution networks
- Submit applications and secure outages and access approvals for planned works
- Schedule field crews and resources to meet project and client requirements
- Coordinate multiple inputs to ensure projects are delivered on time and efficiently
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors and network providers




- Provide guidance to field staff on client processes and requirements
- Engage directly with customers to resolve issues and remove project barriers
- Support field coordination activities as required
- Maintain high standards of safety, environmental and quality performance
- Complete general administrative and planning support tasks

What you will need

- Certificate III in Electrical Distribution (desirable)
- Experience with Make Application (essential)
- Strong knowledge of outage planning and application processes (e.g. AusNet, United Energy, Jemena, Powercor, CitiPower)
- Experience coordinating works in electrical distribution or a similar environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work inputs in a fast-paced setting
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
- Valuable understanding of electrical network construction and stakeholder requirements
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with access-based systems (e.g. Codex) and contract administration (desirable)
