n About the Role

n Proactive Projects is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of minor capital projects within a Tier 1 gold mining operation.

n This role will focus on the delivery of site infrastructure improvements, working closely with operational stakeholders to develop project scopes, coordinate pricing, manage contractors, and support project execution. While the role has an electrical focus, you will be involved in delivering multidisciplinary projects from concept through to completion.

n Initially offered as a 6-month contractor engagement, this position provides an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term career, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

n Roster:

n FIFO Roster: 8/6 (8 days on 6 days off, typically 12hr days)

n Project Portfolio

n You will be responsible for delivering a range of capital improvement projects valued between $100,000 and $500,000, including:

n

- n
- Village and accommodation upgradesn
- Building refurbishments and facility improvementsn
- Recreation and amenity upgradesn




- Electrical infrastructure improvementsn
- Small multidisciplinary capital projects supporting site operationsn

n The project portfolio consists of a large pipeline of approved capital works ready for development and execution.

n Key Responsibilities

- n
- Engage with stakeholders to understand operational requirements and develop practical project solutionsn
- Develop project scopes, work packages, cost estimates, and procurement documentationn
- Coordinate pricing submissions and contractor quotationsn
- Manage contractors throughout project deliveryn
- Oversee project execution to ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standardsn
- Perform quality assurance and quality control activities during constructionn
- Monitor project progress, costs, risks, and reporting requirementsCoordinate multidisciplinary project activities while maintaining an electrical engineering focusn
- Build strong relationships with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractor teamsn

n About You

n You are an Electrical Project Engineer who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and delivering practical infrastructure improvements within an operational mining environment.

n You will demonstrate:

- n




- 3–7 years' experience delivering capital projects within mining, resources, or heavy industryn
- Electrical engineering background with exposure to multidisciplinary project deliveryn
- Experience developing scopes of work and managing contractorsn
- Understanding of project procurement and contractor engagement processesn
- Experience supporting construction activities, including QA/QC and commissioningn
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsn
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsn
