You’ll take on a permanent Maintenance Electrician role based in Eagle Farm, working with a wide range of equipment—from fully automated Industry 4.0 machinery to traditional tools. This hands-on position covers both preventive and breakdown maintenance, with scope for occasional field service work.

The Benefits:

- Full-time ongoing permanent work
- $50-$55hr (Pending Experience)
- 38 hours + Monthly paid RDO
- Day Shift 6:30am - 2:30pm - Overtime available as required

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute daily corrective and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Identify and diagnose faults, taking appropriate corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
- Provide regular feedback to management regarding equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, participating in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Install electrical systems and components for new equipment setups.
- Minimize production downtime by delivering effective preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
- Accurately complete all required documentation and maintenance records as per company guidelines.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards in all repair and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

- Current QLD Electrical Licence and trade qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with PLC fault-finding (preferred but not essential)
- Reliable, safety-focused, and a team player
- Motivated to learn, upskill, and mentor apprentices
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
