Employee Benefits Account Manager – Group Insurance

- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients across group insurance, superannuation and employee benefits.
- Join a respected advisory business offering technical variety, client ownership and professional development.
- Genuine pathway into a Team Leader role as the function grows - without current people-management responsibilities.

The Position As a Benefits Advisory Specialist, you will deliver high-quality administration and client support across group insurance, superannuation, and employee benefits.

You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative support to a select panel of key corporate clients and their employees.

This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise, client relationship management, and a focus on continuous improvement.

You will play an important role in maintaining service excellence, supporting complex client, claims, and insurer matters, and contributing to the ongoing development of the Benefits Advisory function.

For someone who demonstrates strong technical judgement, ownership, and the ability to positively support others, there may be scope to progress into a Team Leader position as the team continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Providing comprehensive administrative support directly to key corporate clients and their employees, including general insurance support, ongoing superannuation assistance, and responding to general client and member queries
- Managing client, member, claims, underwriting, and insurer-related matters, escalating complex issues to the appropriate adviser or Team Leader when required
- Delivering consistently high-quality client outcomes through accurate, responsive, and proactive service
- Coordinating the delivery of Group Insurance Reviews and Tenders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to quality standards

- Managing key client relationships in partnership with senior advisers
- Ensuring your work meets compliance requirements, technical standards, and internal processes
- Identifying and contributing to process improvements, efficiencies, and best-practice service delivery
- Sharing knowledge and supporting the onboarding of new colleagues where appropriate
- Collaborating with advisers and the wider team to support business growth, retention, and client satisfaction

About You We are looking for someone who brings strong technical capability, sound judgement, and the potential to take on broader responsibility over time, including:

- Ideally, a minimum of three years' experience in employee benefits, group insurance, superannuation, or financial services administration
- Experience managing client relationships or a portfolio of corporate clients, with the ability to build trust and deliver consistently
- A hands-on approach and the confidence to take ownership of a panel of key clients
- A strong technical understanding of group insurance arrangements, claims processes, and insurer engagement would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and positive client outcomes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, along with an interest in developing leadership capability over time; prior formal people management experience is not required

Why Join Them

- Potential progression into a Team Leader role for someone who demonstrates the right qualities, capability, and readiness
- Exposure to a diverse corporate client base and complex employee benefit arrangements
- A supportive, collaborative culture with a strong focus on professional development
- The chance to influence processes and service delivery while building your expertise within a growing advisory team
