About you Required for bothpositions:

- Current ‘C’Class Driver’s Licence.
- WHSCompetency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 Prepareto work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent, ora willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Traffic ManagementDesign (TMD) qualification is desirable.
- Experienceproviding engineering and technical advice in a civilmaintenance workplace is desirable.
- Understanding of andcommitment to Council’s Organisational Value and Behaviour ofTeamwork.

Additional to Engineer

- Bachelor’s degree inEngineering (Civil) from an Australian university, orequivalent recognised by Engineers Australia.

Additional to Technical Officer

- Bachelor of Technologyin Engineering (Civil), Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree inEngineering (Civil) from a recognised University (orequivalent), and/or experience relevant to therole. Thepreferred candidate will be required to undertake a CriminalHistory Check and a pre-employment medical assessment to assesstheir ability to perform the genuine occupational requirements ofthe position.

Construction & MaintenanceSouth TheConstruction and Maintenance South Branch forms part of theInfrastructure Services Group (ISG) and is responsible fordeveloping and maintaining community infrastructure includingstormwater drainage/culverts, footpath/cycleway and road andbridge infrastructure assets.
