To shepherd and disciple the English congregation at CABC-WR.

Major Responsibilities

- To collaborate with the pastoral team, admin staff and lay leadership in implementing English ministry plans in alignment with our overall church vision.
- Prepare and deliver sermons in accordance with the Christian faith and Baptist beliefs and administer Holy Communion.
- Discipling and equipping the congregation for service, for example, developing lay leaders.
- To participate in English Meadowbank Committee meetings and provide spiritual guidance and support for the English Meadowbank Team members in the planning and implementation of their respective ministries.
- To encourage believers to love Jesus and share the gospel with the local community and beyond.
- To assist in organising baptism services, including preparing believers for their baptism and subsequent church membership.
- To work collaboratively with the Pastoral Team.




- To participate in youth ministry by providing spiritual guidance and support for the leaders and attending some related meetings/events (initially around 20% of capacity – review in 3-6 months).

- Strong biblical knowledge and ability to teach the Scripture effectively.
- Collaborate, delegate, and lead teams in ministry contexts.
- Able to relate and serve across all age groups in a culturally and generationally diverse church.
- Willingness to enter membership of this church.
- Humble, teachable, and open to feedback and growth.

Qualifications

- Theological qualifications of at minimum Diploma level.
- Other relevant training.
