We are currently recruiting casual staff to night shifts.
Candidates will have the opportunity to indicate their preferred shift availability, offering flexibility around casual work arrangements. The Position - Assists with safe and tidy storage of supplies within the unit.
- Performs housekeeping duties throughout the unit in accordance with Statement of Duties and Cleaning Standards Victorian Health Facilities.
- Ensure that the patient room is presented as per hospital standards.
- Participate as a valued team member promoting and contributing to a supportive team environment.
- Communicate effectively with all caregivers, customers and patients using the appropriate channels, utilising appropriate formal and informal channels of communication.
- Participate in the documentation of Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures for activities that could pose an OHS risk.
- Working in a supportive team environment you will have basic knowledge of chemical usage and effective communication skills.
- You will bring knowledge of safe work practices, infection control, and housekeeping standards, as well as high-quality cleaning skills and experience using cleaning equipment.
- To succeed in this role, you will be able to plan and prioritise your work effectively,
demonstrate strong organisational skills, and be willing to work additional or alternative shifts when required.
