With a strong reputation for safety, quality, and reliability, we are continuing to grow and are looking for experienced operators to join our team.

The Prospect

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team for a long-term project located at the East End site in Newcastle.

This is a full-time opportunity with an expected project duration of 12–18 months, offering consistent work, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to be part of a significant civil construction project.

The successful candidate will commence on 17 August 2026, with interviews taking place prior to commencement.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a 5.5-tonne excavator safely and efficiently.

- Work alongside archaeologists during the initial stage of the project, ensuring careful excavation in accordance with project requirements.

- Carry out excavation works in line with project plans and safety procedures.

- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and maintain plant in good working order.





- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and the project team.

- Comply with all WHS requirements, company policies, and site procedures.

About You

- Proven experience operating excavators in a civil construction environment.

- Strong commitment to safe work practices.

- Ability to communicate effectively in English.

- Construction White Card.

- First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential - we can arrange training for the right candidate).

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team.
