Workfast is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our Recycling and Waste Management Team in Pinkenba QLD.

We are actively seeking a dedicated Excavator Operator to join our Recycling and Waste Management team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate excavators safely and efficiently within a recycling and waste management environment.
- Use grab/grapple attachments to sort, move and manage waste and recyclable materials.
- Work stockpiles and operate off the face with a robust focus on safe operating procedures.
- Load and move materials while maintaining production targets and site safety standards.
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance.
- Work closely with supervisors and site personnel to ensure smooth site operations.
- Follow all relevant site policies, procedures,



and safety regulations.
- Assist with additional site duties when required.

What You Bring to the Team:

- Previous experience operating excavators in waste, recycling, quarry, or similar environments.
- Experience using grapple/grab attachments is essential.
- Experience working stockpiles and off the face.
- Current RII Excavator Ticket / VOC required.
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights.
- Must have reliable transport.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- A positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
