In this role, you will work directly with the Approved Provider and centre leadership, giving you access to ongoing guidance, support and the opportunity to contribute to the centre’s educational direction and continuous improvement.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join Mini Me Busby on a full time basis. As the ECT, you will lead the development and delivery of a high-quality educational program that reflects the interests, strengths and individual needs of each child. You will work collaboratively with educators, families, centre leadership and the Approved Provider to create engaging learning experiences and support children’s development, wellbeing and school readiness.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, play-based educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Create a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning workplace that encourages children to explore, create and build confidence.
- Observe and assess children’s learning and development to inform individual and group planning.




- Maintain meaningful and accurate documentation that demonstrates children’s learning, development and progress.
- Build secure, respectful and responsive relationships with children.
- Develop positive partnerships with families and communicate regularly about their child’s learning, development and wellbeing.
- Support the inclusion of children with diverse abilities, backgrounds and additional needs.
- Guide, mentor and collaborate with educators to promote consistent, high-quality teaching practices.
- Support children’s physical, emotional and social wellbeing throughout daily routines and learning experiences.
- Ensure practices comply with the National Quality Framework, service policies and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Work directly with the Approved Provider and centre leadership to support the educational direction and ongoing development of the service.
- Contribute to the centre’s Quality Improvement Plan and continuous-improvement activities.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development and centre events.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an approved equivalent.
- Previous experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher within an early childhood education and care service.
- A current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications, or a willingness to obtain them before commencing.
- Current child protection training.




- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard and National Quality Framework.
- The ability to develop and deliver meaningful educational programs based on children’s interests, strengths and developmental needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in maintaining high-quality observations, learning documentation and educational records.
- A sound understanding of child-safe practices and mandatory reporting responsibilities.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- A collaborative, dependable and supportive approach to teamwork.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children’s holistic development.

Experience supporting children with additional or diverse needs will be highly regarded.
