About the Role

Join a leading dermatology, skin cancer and cosmetic medicine clinic working alongside a multidisciplinary team of specialists, doctors, nurses and dermal therapists.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist with recent experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

As a key member of our administration team, you will help ensure a seamless experience for patients while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy specialist medical practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing specialist medical appointments and patient enquiries
- Coordinating referrals, recalls and follow-up appointments
- Medicare billing and patient accounts
- Processing correspondence and medical administration
- Supporting provider and clinic workflows
- Delivering a professional, welcoming and efficient patient experience




- Maintaining high standards of organisation, communication and patient care

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 2 years recent full-time experience in a specialist medical practice
- Confident and experienced using Genie
- Robust understanding of specialist referrals, Medicare billing and patient workflows
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and remain calm in a busy environment
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude and genuine passion for patient care
- Availability to work Monday to Friday with a permanent 7:45am start
