Position: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $80,000–$85,000 per annum plus superannuation (depending on skills and experience)

Auto Parts Service Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Motor Mechanic (General) to join our busy workshop in Warwick, Queensland.

About the Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out routine servicing, logbook servicing and scheduled maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
- Inspect, test and repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering and braking systems.
- Perform wheel alignments, tyre fitting and balancing.
- Use diagnostic scan tools to identify and rectify faults.
- Conduct road tests where required.
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and secure workshop environment.
- Work collaboratively with other workshop staff to deliver quality customer service.

Essential Requirements





- At least 5 years' full-time relevant post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).
- Trade qualification equivalent to Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience servicing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Experience with engine, transmission, suspension, steering and brake repairs.
- Experience using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Wheel alignment and tyre fitting experience.
- Current driver's licence (or ability to obtain one).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced workshop.

Auto Parts Service Center is an approved Standard Business Sponsor (SBS). Visa sponsorship may be available for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate under the Subclass 482 Skills in Demand (SID) visa, subject to meeting all legislative requirements.
