This job is open for expressions of interest only PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for the effective planning and preparation of all system and manual weight & balance documentation
- Liaising with customer airline staff to ensure adherence to policy and procedure
- Ensure the accuracy of passenger figures, baggage / cargo weight
- Responsible for the preparation and issuance of loading instruction reports to all ground handling staff
- Provide Centralised Load Control functions to client airlines
- Provide flight operations and airline crew the required information to enable maximum fuel uplift and trim fuel transfer within ground time
- Monitor flight changes in the flight schedule and adjust Departure Control System documentation
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Reinforce a positive safety culture within the team focussed on awareness and vigilance ESSENTIAL CRITERIA - Motivated and capable of committing to rostered shifts spanning 24 hours / 7 days a week
- High level computer skills; including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Dangerous Good Awareness Training
- Minimum of 3 years ground handling experience
- Knowledge of Aviation legislation, specifically flight planning, weather, NOTAM and Load Control Legislation
- Robust analytics as well as attention to detail and preciseness
- Ability to handle pressured and stressful job situation successfully
- Ability to effectively communicate with people from a variety of different backgrounds
- Understands the importance of meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) whilst adhering to safety requirements
- Be a proactive self-starter, able to successfully manage multiple issues and effectively resolving them
- Ability to work unsupervised at times and in a changing and fast paced team environment
