About the role

Caloundra City Autos is seeking an experienced Senior Automotive Technician to join our dealership on the Sunny Coast.

Are you ready to lead by example, do you want to make a difference, do you have the Attitude to be a true hands-on workshop Leader. You will play a key leadership role in our workshop by performing advanced diagnostics and repairs, maintaining Dealership high standards, and mentoring developing technicians.

Key responsibilities

- Carry out inspections, routine servicing and complex repairs

- Mentoring and supporting less experienced technicians

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults

- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

- Maintain accurate service records and documentation

- Support continuous improvement within the workshop





- Assist with all workplace health and safety procedures

What we're looking for

- Trade qualification as an Automotive Technician (Light Vehicle), Heavy Commercial Vehicle, Heavy Diesel equivalent.

- Leading other technicians with a supportive approach

- Experience with a wide range of brands and models

- Experience in automotive repair and diagnostics

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Ability to mentor and support less experienced technicians

- Solid communication and teamwork skills

- Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
