We are hiring for Geologists and Field Assistants who are interested to be part of current and upcoming exploration programs across Western Australia.
These roles offer the chance to work with high-quality exploration teams on exciting projects and we want to hear from people who are reliable, field-ready, and available at short notice.

What’s on offer
- Geologists: $650 – $1,000/day + super (contract roles)
- Field Assistants: $500 – $650/day + super (contract roles)
- FIFO rosters including 8/6, 12/9, 2/2 and 2/1 depending on project
- Ongoing drilling programs across gold, copper and base metals
- Mix of greenfields exploration through to near-mine and resource drill-out
- Short-term contracts and longer ongoing roles available
Most of these roles are with smaller, hands-on exploration teams running active drilling programs - valuable exposure and proper field experience rather than sitting behind a desk.

GEOLOGISTS
- Logging and supervising AC, RC and Diamond drilling
- Planning and executing surface sampling programs
- Mapping and field interpretation
- QA/QC and sampling validation
- Running field logistics and contractor supervision
- Working with tools like Micromine, LogChief, GIS
- Writing daily reports and supporting geological models
What You’ll Need
- Geology degree
- Experience in mineral exploration (any commodity)
- Confident in the field and able to work in small teams
- Strong logging, sampling, and mapping skills
- Manual licence and First Aid (preferred)

FIELD ASSISTANTS**
- Assisting Air core, RC or Diamond drilling operations
- Collecting and dispatching soil, rock chip, and drill samples
- Core mark-up, orientation, RQD and SG
- XRF use and basic data entry
- General field labour and helping keep camp running smoothly
- 4WD driving in remote areas
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
What You’ll Need
- Prior experience in field-based exploration support
- WA Manual driver’s licence (HR Highly regarded)
- Fit for physical work and long shifts
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test
- Based in Perth with full Australian working rights
- First Aid (preferred but not essential)
