Farmers Choice Meats is a family-owned wholesale meat processor and distributor supplying premium pork and beef products to customers throughout Queensland and interstate. Operating from our modern facility at Carole Park, we are committed to providing quality products, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an additional Retail Outlet, Office & Factory Cleaner to join our team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic workplace across our production facility, retail outlet and office areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Cleaning and maintaining our retail outlet, including customer-facing areas and food display areas
- Cleaning lunchrooms, offices, amenities and staff facilities.
- General housekeeping throughout the facility.
- Cleaning and sanitising production areas, equipment and work surfaces.
- Cleaning beef and pork processing areas in accordance with food safety procedures.
- Cleaning and maintaining chillers, cool rooms and associated production areas.
- Following cleaning schedules, procedures and hygiene requirements.
- Safely handling cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Completing cleaning and quality assurance documentation as required.




- Working collaboratively with supervisors and production staff to ensure cleaning activities align with operational requirements.

About You

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in a commercial, industrial or food manufacturing cleaning role.
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.

- Full Australian working rights
- Experience working safely with cleaning chemicals and understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards will be highly regarded
- Experience cleaning food production/food retail facilities or commercial offices will be highly regarded.
