With strong demand and years of forward orders, Noosa Cat Australia is expanding its production team. Every vessel we build is custom and made to order - from offshore cruisers to purpose-built commercial vessels for Police, Maritime, and marine search and rescue vessels; no two projects are the same.

We are seeking experienced fiberglass boat builders, composite tradespeople, and skilled craftspeople to join our growing team. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in:

- Fiberglass boat building,
- Fiberglass lamination,
- Gelcoat and fiberglass repairs,
- Fairing and finishing,
- Composite assembly, and
- Fit-out and finishing.

Don't have boatbuilding experience? If you have transferable skills from caravan manufacturing, cabinet making, composite manufacturing, panel beating, spray painting or similar industries, we'd like to hear from you. We value practical skills and a willingness to learn. A certificate III in Marine Craft Construction is preferred, however all relevant trade qualifications will be considered.

Duties may include:

- Building custom vessels including installing structural components including bulkheads, beams, reinforcements and composite assemblies.
- Producing high-quality finishes through gelcoat application and repairs, surface preparation, fairing, sanding and polishing.




- Completing custom vessel fit-outs including stainless steel components, windows and hatches, hardware, plumbing systems, fixtures and accessories.
- Working across a variety of custom projects, where attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are essential.

Qualities the successful applicant will have:

- Over 12 months experience in fiberglass, composites, boat building or boat repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Positive problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Experience with hand and power tools, a positive attitude, proactive and reliable work ethic.
- Australian work rights at the time of application.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
