We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This is a great opportunity to step into a dynamic business, working across a diverse range of equipment while building your skills in both workshop and field service environments.

Based out of our Pakenham workshop. We are focused on ensuring you have the tools, support and resources to do your best work everyday.

Qualifications & Experience

- Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology)

- Qualified Diesel Mechanic with practical experience

- Previous experience working on earthmoving machinery

- Robust hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills

- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills

- Strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
- A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work independently in field service environments

- Current MR or HR drivers licence advantageous

- White Card (Construction Induction Card)

- Valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Service and repair earthmoving equipment

- Carry out and analyse diagnostic testing on equipment

- Troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of earthmoving equipment and their components, hydraulics, transmissions and engines

- Working as a team to manage your time independently

- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

- Be flexible in attending breakdowns, onsite, repairs and fieldwork as required

- Additional skills like metal fabrication, welding etc. would be an advantage
