Field Service Technician - Leading Hand Primary Location: Paget, QLD, AU We are seeking a Field Service Technician - Leading Hand to join our Mackay-based team. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys a mix of hands‑on mechanical work, onsite leadership and customer engagement. You’ll be responsible for supervising field service activities, supporting technicians, and ensuring safe, high-quality service delivery across a variety of customer sites. Reporting to the Field Service Manager - East, you will play a key role in supporting our customers, coordinating service work and ensuring a seamless onsite experience. What you’ll do - Lead and supervise field service technicians on customer sites - Act as the main onsite technical contact for customers and technicians - Coordinate job planning, scheduling and resource allocation - Support development of scopes of work, job plans and pricing - Ensure timely completion of reports, timesheets and expenses - Perform hands‑on mechanical service work, including inspections, installs and maintenance - Interpret drawings and hydraulic schematics to ensure correct processes are followed - Assist with complex technical issues alongside Technical Support teams - Ensure all work meets Metso’s HS&E;,
