Your new role
We are seeking multiple hands-on Field Service Technicians to join a growing team supporting advanced AI infrastructure. Working across mechanical, electrical and computing systems, you'll play a key role in maintaining and supporting specialist equipment within a high-tech environment.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy practical work, problem-solving and working with cutting-edge technology. As part of a 24/7 operation, you'll assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, deployment and commissioning activities while developing valuable skills in a rapidly growing industry.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting the maintenance, installation and repair of mechanical, electrical and computing systems
- Performing inspections, preventative maintenance and routine servicing
- Assisting with commissioning activities, hardware installations and equipment setup
- Supporting fluid handling operations, load bank installations and basic cabling works
- Conducting fault-finding, equipment resets and component replacements
- Maintaining accurate documentation, equipment logs and service records
- Supporting inventory management, tool control and quality checks
- Following all safety, compliance and site housekeeping requirements
- Providing clear updates to project, operations and technical teams
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade qualification, diploma or technical certification in a mechanical, electrical or related discipline
- Previous hands-on experience maintaining, repairing or troubleshooting technical equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to fault-finding
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including evenings and weekends
- Experience with data centres, industrial equipment, electrical systems or critical infrastructure will be highly regarded
