Experienced Geologists required for a high performing mining operations in Western Australia.
The Prospect
Techforce is seeking multiple Geologists to join our Iron Ore Generative team — providing critical geological support across exploration mapping and drilling programmes to advance our iron ore portfolio. You'll work as part of a collaborative generative geology team, contributing to the interpretation and modelling of iron ore targets through systematic fieldwork, data collection, and geological analysis, helping to define and de-risk future project opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geological mapping across iron ore project areas, including regional and detailed prospect-scale programmes.
- Plan, supervise, and log RC and diamond drilling campaigns.
- Collect, validate, and manage geological and geochemical data from drilling and field activities.
- Interpret geological data and contribute to the development and refinement of 3D geological and resource models.
- Prepare geological sections, maps, and technical reports to support target generation and project advancement.
- Maintain geological databases, including QA/QC checks and sample dispatch coordination.
- Collaborate with senior geologists and resource geologists to integrate field findings into exploration models.
- Support end-of-programme reporting and contribute to exploration strategy discussions.
What is Required?
- Tertiary level education in Geology, Geoscience, or a relevant discipline.
- A few years of experience in iron ore or Hardrock exploration geology, with demonstrated exposure to mapping and drilling environments.
- Sound understanding of iron ore geology, mineralisation styles, and exploration methodologies.
- Experience in RC and/or diamond drilling programmes.
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS for spatial data management, mapping, and geological interpretation.
- Competence in geological mapping and core/chip logging to industry standards.
- Familiarity with resource estimation concepts and geological modelling workflows.
- Proficiency in Micromine, Vulcan, or similar 3D geological modelling software.
- Experience with database management tools such as Acquire or similar -
- Strong QA/QC reporting skills and attention to data integrity.

- Valid Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Valid National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
- Ability to provide 2 recent contactable references
