Reporting to the CFO, take ownership of the finance function and lead improvement and implementation projects. Your recent company This privately owned organisation operates in a fast-paced, service-led industry and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality customer outcomes.

With a clear growth agenda, a values-led culture and an ongoing focus on operational excellence, the business is now seeking a capable Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and partner closely with senior leadership. Your new role Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will oversee day-to-day finance operations while providing commercial insight to support strategic planning and business performance. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys combining technical financial control with business partnering, team management and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include: Leading the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process in partnership with department heads Preparing monthly management reports, board packs, P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow reporting

Analysing financial performance, identifying risks, opportunities and areas for cost improvement or revenue growth Managing day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable Leading, mentoring and developing the finance team

Partnering with operational teams to support decision-making through financial modelling, analysis and constructive challenge Supporting systems optimisation,



process improvement and enhanced reporting, including ERP and BI tools Maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring compliance with financial, legal and regulatory requirements

Overseeing month-end and year-end close processes, annual financial statements, tax calculations and the external audit What you'll need to succeed CA or CPA qualification with proven experience in financial management, ideally with 5-7 years of relevant experience. You will have demonstrated experience leading and developing a finance team as well as robust technical accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting capability.

You should bring a commercial mindset with the ability to partner effectively with operational stakeholders as well as a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Power BI experience will be highly regarded, as will advanced Excel skills.
