The Role
AGSVA is seeking enthusiastic and stakeholder-focused Accounts Receivable Management Officers to join the Finance and Cost Recovery Team in Canberra. In this role, you will contribute to the effective delivery of AGSVA's accounts receivable and cost recovery functions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing a range of financial and administrative activities while building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, sound organisational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include
- Raising and processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Managing outstanding debts and supporting debt recovery activities.
- Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Investigating and responding to financial enquiries and account irregularities.
- Maintaining customer records, including the creation and amendment of customer accounts within financial systems.
- Undertaking data uploads and financial reporting activities using Microsoft Excel.
- Providing administrative support to the Finance and Cost Recovery team.
- Supporting business operations and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Building and maintaining productive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

About our Team The Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) is the central authority responsible for assessing and granting security clearances for most Australian Government agencies, as well as participating state and territory agencies.
The AGSVA Business Enablement team provides key support services that enable the effective delivery of AGSVA's security vetting functions.
Within Business
Enablement, the Finance and Cost Recovery team plays an important role in delivering financial management, cost recovery, and business support services across the agency. As part of the AGSVA Finance and Cost Recovery team, you will contribute to the delivery of key financial and operational outcomes that support AGSVA's strategic objectives.

Security Clearance:
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at “Baseline Vetting” level.
