About the role
Kia Australia is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Macquarie Park.
In this role, you will support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting while providing clear commercial insights to senior leaders and key stakeholders. Working across the business, you will help improve financial performance, optimise costs and inform strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling activities.
- Analyse financial performance, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly reports for local and global stakeholders.
- Partner with teams across the business to optimise cost structures and improve profitability.
- Support long-term planning, scenario analysis and strategic initiatives.
- Present financial findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership.
About you You are a commercially minded finance professional who can turn complex data into practical business insights.
You combine strong technical capability with a collaborative, goal-oriented approach.
To be successful, you will have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- At least five years' experience in a management accounting environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Having completed CPA, CA, or equivalent qualifications.
- Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated financial-modelling capability.
- Experience using ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- A proactive, team-focused approach and commitment to achieving results.
