- Assist with repairing and maintaining products delivered to the Service Centre and in customer operations.

- Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviours in support of a world class safety culture.
- Strip, maintain, repair, and report on customer pumps in the Townsville Service Centre and occasionally at customer operations.
- Provide informed recommendations to enhance product performance, service quality and workshop processes.
- Play an active role in implementing the Weir Production System within the Rebuild Centre.
- Support mine shutdowns by attending customer sites when required. About the Candidate - Cert III - Mechanical Engineering / Fitting & Turning.
- Experience in mechanical fitting in a workshop and onsite environments.
- Experience leading and mentoring a team of fitters.




- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- High-risk fork lift ticket - required.
- Overhead crane and dogger ticket - highly desirable.
- Current driver's licence.

Work Environment - Family-friendly Monday to Friday roster: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2.30pm, Friday 5am - 11am.
