The Role
- Perform planned and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant gear (crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps).
- Diagnose mechanical faults and execute rapid repairs to minimise downtime.
- Handle precision fitting, alignments, and equipment installations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Complete maintenance logs and collaborate with the team to improve plant reliability.
What You Bring
- Cert III in Engineering (Mechanical Fitter & Turner) or equivalent.
- 5+ years of fixed plant experience in mining, heavy industry, or quarries.
- Solid fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid manual Driver’s Licence (HR is highly regarded).
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets (issued within the last 2 years, or willing to obtain).
