Junior Food & Beverage Crew Member

Start your hospitality journey at one of the Blue Mountains' most unique visitor attractions. Every day, guests from across Australia and around the world visit the Zig Zag Railway to experience the magic of travelling on a historic railway through spectacular mountain scenery. As a Junior Food & Beverage Crew Member, you'll be part of the team that helps make every visit memorable.

Whether you're serving customers, preparing food and drinks, making coffees (once trained) or helping with special events, you'll learn valuable hospitality skills while working in a fun, supportive team.

No previous experience is required—we're looking for enthusiastic, reliable young people with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

In this role you will:

- Welcome guests with friendly and helpful customer service.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages.
- Learn to prepare espresso coffee and other café drinks.
- Operate the point-of-sale system (full training provided).
- Help maintain a clean, safe and organised café.
- Assist with stocking and presentation of products.
- Work as part of a friendly and supportive team.

We're looking for someone who:

- Is aged 14–20 with a positive attitude and enjoy working with people.

Essential Requirements

- A friendly and professional approach to customer service.
- A willingness to learn new skills.
- Availability to work weekends, school holidays and special events.
- Availability for weekday shifts is highly regarded.
- Ability to travel to and from Clarence, NSW.

Desirable

- Previous customer service or hospitality experience (not essential).
- Food Safety Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
