About us The Australian Golf Club is a private Member’s Club located in Rosebery. The Club is the oldest Golf Club in Australia, having been originally founded in 1882. The Club prides itself on its history and tradition and expects excellence in service delivery to the Members.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Attendant to work on a casual basis. The role will entail the following duties:

- Meeting and greeting members and guests
- Confidently taking orders and serving drinks and food in our bar and restaurant
- Serve meals promptly and professionally
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the bar and restaurant, including clearing tables and restocking supplies.
- Assist with the set up and operation of various functions, some night work required
- Function work, knowing how to run a function / event

This is a outstanding role for someone with strong customer service skills, who can build positive relationships with our members and guests.



Your main responsibilities centre around providing first-class customer service to our members and guests. Qualifications & experience

- Experience in hospitality is essential, with at least 3 years of bar & a la carte experience in a similar environment.
- Previous experience in a Golf Club is highly advantageous.
- Able to work a bar and restaurant floor with confidence.
- Experience working in functions and events
- Barista experience.
- RSA and Bar experience is essential.
- Experience using POS machines for billing purpose.
