We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman/Supervisor to work out of our Townsville Depot. Candidates will have experience in the supervision of plant, labour and subcontractors for pavement works with a proven track record in the delivery of part service and subcontract civil construction projects in accordance with specifications, financial and reporting requirements.
Duties
- Assistance with quotation and tender activities
- Project preparation and planning
- Management of resources and materials in consultation with the Operations Manager
- Ensuring works are carried out in an efficient manner that meets quality requirements
- Daily and weekly reporting
- Client and stakeholder communication
- Willingness to travel and work away as required
- A demonstrated knowledge and application of OH&S; and environmental legislation is essential along with a genuine commitment to a safe and productive work environment.
Skills & Experience
- Min. 5 years' experience as a foreman in Civil Construction and previous experience as a an Operator is preferable
- Knowledge of plant and materials
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Computer literacy with preferred proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project, along with standard written communication
