About the role

Ashbridge Construction Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Formworker/Concreter to join our growing team in Perth, WA. This is a full time position based in Perth, WA 6000, where you will play a crucial role in the construction of building projects across the region. As a Formworker/Concreter, you will be responsible for preparing, installing, and finishing concrete structures that form the backbone of modern construction.

This role is essential to maintaining project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols on our sites.

What you'll be doing

- Setting out and constructing formwork systems for concrete structures including slabs, beams, columns, walls and foundations
- Operating and maintaining formwork equipment and tools in accordance with safety standards
- Preparing concrete mixes and pouring concrete into formwork to specified requirements
- Finishing concrete surfaces to the required standard, including trowelling, screeding and texturing
- Ensuring formwork is properly secured, levelled and braced to maintain structural integrity
- Inspecting formwork and concrete for quality, accuracy and compliance with engineering drawings
- Stripping and removing formwork once concrete has cured sufficiently
- Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment and work areas
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures and contributing to a safe site culture
- Collaborating with other trades and site personnel to meet project deadlines

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Formworker or Concreter in the building and construction industry
- Solid knowledge of formwork systems, concrete placement techniques and finishing methods
- Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and construction plans
- Current White Card (WH&S; Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one
- Valid driver's licence to travel between job sites




- Physical fitness and capability to perform heavy manual work in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in formwork and concreting
- Understanding of construction safety standards and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from site supervisors
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in concreting or formwork are highly valued
