McLean Farms is a family-owned agricultural business based in Pittsworth, Queensland.

We are currently looking for a Free-Range Poultry Hand to join our team.

About the Role

As a Free-Range Poultry Hand, you will assist with the day-to-day care of our birds and the operation of our free-range poultry sheds.

Duties include:

- Collecting floor and system eggs
- Monitoring bird health and welfare
- Checking feed, water and lighting systems
- Cleaning sheds and maintaining equipment
- Carrying out general maintenance and grounds work
- Assisting with bird placements, removals and shed preparation
- Following biosecurity, food safety and animal welfare requirements

About You To be successful in this role you will have:

- A reliable attitude and robust work ethic
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team




- A willingness to work with livestock in an agricultural environment
- A commitment to following workplace safety and biosecurity procedures
