Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a high performing Workplace team, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, safety and quality across project delivery.
- Drive strategic growth by building strong client relationships, supporting business development initiatives and contributing to winning proposals and bids.
- Oversee the successful delivery of Contaminated Land and/or Environmental Impact Assessments projects, providing technical guidance and ensuring outcomes meet client and business expectations.
- Mentor and develop team members at all levels, supporting technical capability, career growth and future leadership development.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, using strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving skills to resolve complex issues.
- Take a proactive approach to operational and project challenges, using sound judgement to anticipate risks, solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Environmental Science or a related discipline, with ideally 10+ years of in Environment Consulting experience
- Proven experience delivering environmental projects and strong understanding of the relevant impact assessments and contamination investigations
- Australian citizenship is preferred due to defence‑related requirements,
and experience working within Defence environments will be highly regarded.
- Strong leadership and relationship‑building skills, with a passion for mentoring, collaboration and developing high performing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercially minded, client focused and highly organised, with strong problem‑solving skills, sound judgement and attention to detail.
