About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you'll play an important role in supporting residents to live with dignity, independence and choice. Working alongside a dedicated clinical team, you'll deliver high-quality personal care, assist with daily living activities and help create a warm, welcoming environment where residents can age well. About You

You have a passion for working with people who are ageing and genuinely enjoy providing support in a residential aged care facility.

Requirements

- One of the following:
- A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care (or Individual Support – Ageing).
- Currently undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing degree.

- A genuine passion for supporting older people to live with dignity, independence and choice.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and respectful approach.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- A current NDIS Worker Check.
- Availability to work across a 24/7 roster.
- A commitment to providing person-centred care and working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic understanding of the Revised Aged Care Standards, The Aged Care Code of Conduct, Australian National Aged Care Classification Tool (ANACC), The Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS)
- Basic computer skills
- Commitment to continuous skills development
- Ability to demonstrate Bethsalem Care’s Values
