The role:

We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical cleaning service and maintenance of cleaning equipment and machinery owned by BIC Consolidated across our many worksites.

This role is a permanent, full-time position based in Craigieburn, supporting our operations region across Victoria. 10 am – 6 pm Monday – Friday

You will be responsible for these key areas:

Working closely with the wider Operations teams, you will be responsible for planning repairs, maintenance needs and checks.

These duties include, but are not limited to:

- Use of machinery
- Hard/Soft Floor Maintenance, including scrubbing and buffing
- Window Cleaning
- Steam cleaning of soft furnishings and upholstery
- Carpet cleaning and spot treatment
- Pressure washing of external surfaces and building facades
- Emergency after-hours jobs as needed
- Biohazard cleaning and water extraction response
- Assist with staff training on the use of machines as needed




- Ensure compliance with all OH&S; and chemical handling regulations
- Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures

Qualifications & experience

- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Cleaning Technician is required
- Hands-on experience with cleaning machinery such as Floor scrubbers, Steam cleaners, Pressure washers and Carpet extractors
- Strong focus on creating and maintaining a safe working environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites

Requirements:

- You must have full work rights within Australia
- A mechanical tertiary qualification would be beneficial
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) license is highly desirable (or willingness to obtain)
- A current Police Check
- A full Drivers License
- Must have experience in the Cleaning Industry
- Must have experience operating ride on sweepers/buffers
- Very active position requiring a lot of walking
