Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute functional, system integration (SIT), regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases.
- Validate end-to-end trade lifecycle, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and post-trade processing workflows.
- Perform SQL-based data validation to verify data accuracy and integrity.
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
- Support business users during UAT and ensure business requirements are successfully validated.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and execution reports.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality assurance practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in Functional Testing within Clearing and Post-Trade environments.




- Solid understanding of trade processing, trade lifecycle, reconciliation, settlement, and post-trade operations.
- Hands-on experience with System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and UAT support.
- Solid SQL skills for backend data validation and testing.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for defect tracking, documentation, and test management.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and software testing best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Python or Java scripting for test automation or data validation.
- Experience working in regulated financial services or capital markets environments.

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sydney NSW
