Hills Sustainable Gardens is seeking a reliable and motivated gardener to join our growing horticultural maintenance team.
Established in 2014, HSG provides professional landscape construction and horticultural maintenance services across premium residential properties and major commercial sites throughout South Australia.

About the Role
You will work across a diverse range of residential and commercial properties, completing high-quality garden and grounds maintenance.
Your responsibilities will include
- Lawn mowing, edging and lawn care
- Detailed pruning and plant shaping
- Hedge trimming
- Weed identification and control
- Garden-bed maintenance
- Fertilising and soil improvement
- Irrigation inspections and minor repairs
- Mulching and seasonal planting
- Pest and disease monitoring
- Green-waste removal
- Maintaining clean and professional worksites
- Operating and maintaining horticultural equipment
About You
The successful applicant will:
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Take pride in producing high-quality work
- Have strong attention to detail
- Work effectively independently and within a team
- Communicate professionally with clients and teammates
- Be physically capable of completing outdoor work
- Follow company safety procedures
- Be willing to learn and develop their skills
- Present professionally while representing HSG
Previous gardening, horticultural or grounds-maintenance experience is preferred. Applicants with a Certificate III in Horticulture or a related qualification will be highly regarded. A current Australian driver’s licence is essential.
