ABOUT THE ROLES

We’re looking for friendly, motivated people who enjoy helping customers and working as part of a team. We currently have a full-time and part-time opportunities available for Retail Assistant and an Inventory Performance Coordinator (IPC) at our busy Broome store.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Retail Assistant: If you have experience in hardware, paint or the building industry, that’s a bonus — but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as key. This position requires the ability to work every second Saturday morning

- Helping customers with sales, orders and quotes
- Working with paint products, or being keen to learn
- Taking part in regular product training with leading brands
- Lending a hand across other departments when needed
- Keeping an eye on stock levels so customers can get what they need
- Learning on the job in a busy,



fast-paced store environment

IPC: You’ll be our go-to person for keeping stock flowing and the team set up for great customer service. It’s a hands-on, all-rounder role where you’ll mix customer support, product know-how, merchandising, and stock control -making sure our trade and retail customers can get what they need, when they need it.

- Looking after customers, including orders, quotes, and general enquiries
- Following our processes to help reduce out-of-stocks and over-stocks in the branch
- Supporting the Purchasing and Marketing teams with planning and rolling out promotions
- Building your product knowledge through regular training with market-leading brands
- Loading and unloading building materials and stock safely
- Operating a forklift and other equipment safely and responsibly
- Picking, preparing and staging customer orders accurately
- Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe
- Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Working with the team to meet customer and delivery timeframes

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

- Great customer service skills and a friendly approach
- A strong focus on safety and looking out for your team, customers and site visitors




- Physical fitness and the ability to safely lift and manually handle goods
- A sharp eye for detail and pride in getting things right (IPC)
- Confident with computers and software (IPC)
- Great organisation skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities (IPC)
- Good attention to detail and accuracy (IPC)
- Current manual driver licence
