We're now looking for a General Manager – Plumbing to take full ownership of our largest division and scale it into a best-in-class operation. This is a true General Manager role, leading both our Service and Installation teams, with both business leaders reporting directly into this position.

This is a true leadership role — full P&L; ownership, end-to-end accountability across the entire Plumbing business unit, and the opportunity to build something meaningful.

About the Role

As General Manager – Plumbing, you will own the P&L;, revenue growth, operational performance and people leadership across our entire Plumbing business unit — both Service and Installations.

You'll lead through leaders — our Service and Installations managers will report directly to you and bring deep technical and industry expertise, freeing you up to focus on performance, accountability and culture across the division.

You’ll be responsible for

- Own the P&L; – deliver monthly financial targets and drive revenue, margin and overall performance

- Lead operations – both Service and Installations running efficiently,



on time and to a consistently high standard

- Drive growth – revenue growth, profitability and productivity across both business lines

- Develop your leadership team – coach, develop and hold accountable the leaders running Service and Installations

- Own customer outcomes – deliver a consistent, high-quality experience

- Ensure safety & compliance – uphold strong WHS and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

- An experienced people leader – has led large service or operational teams (30–100 people preferred), managing through leaders rather than directly managing individuals

- Commercially strong – has owned revenue, profitability and operational KPIs, with strong commercial acumen and a data-driven approach to decisions
- A true leader – has built high-performance cultures with strong accountability, and can coach, develop and hold leaders to account

- Resilient and driven – brings high energy, urgency and resilience, and is comfortable making difficult decisions and having challenging conversations

- Hungry and ambitious – wants to win and build something

Ideal Background:

- Experience leading a large P&L; or business unit, at scale

- Industry background – plumbing or trades experience is a bonus but not required; your leaders bring deep technical expertise. We're open to candidates from any high-performing, operationally intensive industry

- Experience managing – through a team of leaders, not direct individual contributors

- Strong track record – of improving performance and scaling operations
