The Prospect

Our client is a leading Australian-owned automation and engineering business delivering innovative solutions across the Food & Beverage, FMCG, Packaging, Manufacturing and Industrial sectors.They are seeking an experienced General Manager - Service Division to take ownership of a well-established service business and lead its next stage of growth.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have full commercial and operational accountability for the division - revenue, profitability, people, customers, systems and growth.This is a hands-on leadership chance for someone who knows how to run, grow and optimise an industrial service business.

Your Role

You will lead the complete Service Division, bringing together service sales, planning, scheduling, operations and field technicians to deliver outstanding commercial and customer outcomes.Your focus will be clear:

- Own and drive the P&L; performance of the Service Division.
- Develop and execute annual business plans, budgets and growth strategies across all States
- Drive recurring service revenue, customer retention and new business opportunities.
- Improve technician utilisation, labour recovery, scheduling and productivity.
- Build and maintain a strong forward sales and service pipeline.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing service team.
- Strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.





About You You are a commercially driven leader who understands that a successful Service Division needs to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and strong financial performance.You will bring:

- Proven leadership within industrial service, automation, engineering, manufacturing, technical services .
- Demonstrated P&L;, budgeting and financial management capability.
- A track record of growing revenue and profitability.
- Strong understanding of field service operations, resource planning and technician utilisation.
- The ability to lead, coach and hold teams accountable for performance.
- Excellent communication and senior-level customer relationship skills.
