About your opportunity

In this role, you will coordinate and support the delivery of capital works projects within Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS), helping to deliver infrastructure outcomes that support excellence in healthcare service delivery. Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating and supporting the delivery of capital works projects from the commencement of design through to post-construction completion.
- Acting as the key point of contact between design consultants, building contractors, THHS stakeholders, and Departmental staff involved in project delivery.
- Supporting collaboration between project stakeholders to facilitate the successful delivery of capital works projects.
- Coordinating and supporting the transition of THHS staff into new operational environments.

This is a temporary full-time role, up to 31/12/2030 (with the possibility of extension for an additional 12 months).

- Base salary range: $108,735 to $118,307 p.a. (AO5)
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading

Requirements

- Whilst not mandatory, previous experience or qualifications in project management, clinical services development and/or business process development in the public health sector is desirable.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
