District Manager Broken Hill Adult Community Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol

Qualified for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to $10,000 under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme, paid fortnightly on a pro‑rated basis.

Remuneration: $137,525 – $156,231 + Super
Hours Per Week: 38

What you'll be doing:

The CMHT manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operational requirements and leadership of clinical services within the Far West LHD, providing Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol services to local communities. The community manager reports to the Deputy Director Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Services.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications, current AHPRA registration, high‑level clinical experience within relevant mental health services,



including management experience and responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing team capability and capacity, incorporating feedback through co‑design processes.
- High level organisational skills, change management skills and adaptable work practice to meet the demands of service delivery.
- Demonstrated human resource management skills, including performance improvement, identifying strengths, and managing self in a quick‑paced environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical governance frameworks and their application to day‑to‑day operations.
- Demonstrated behaviours that reinforce the CORE values of our organisation: Collaboration, Openness, Respect, Empowerment, with all stakeholders, colleagues, direct reports, patients and consumers.
- Valid unrestricted driving licence for NSW/Australia and willingness to travel as required.
