The Role

As the company continues to expand its production capabilities, the opportunity exists for a suitably qualified person to take on the role position of Process Technician based at our purpose-built manufacturing facility in Henderson, Western Australia.

The position will have direct reporting lines to First Graphene’s Operations Manager. The key responsibilities of the Process Engineer role will include the following:

- Actively promote and uphold First Graphene’s Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability (QHS&E;) culture by consistently demonstrating safe, responsible, and compliant work practices in all aspects of the role.




- Develop and maintain proficiency in the operation of all production equipment and machinery within the Henderson Production Facility, under the guidance and direction of the Operations Manager.
- Safely and effectively operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established work instructions, checklists, policies, and procedures to support the manufacture of the company’s products.
- Support operational personnel in the efficient operation, upkeep, and maintenance of the Henderson Production Facility to ensure production targets and operational objectives are achieved.
- Demonstrate flexibility and a team-oriented approach by undertaking a broad range of operational tasks, including routine and repetitive duties, as required to support the effective operation of the Henderson Production Facility.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude in the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a wide range of production equipment and machinery.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of operational and process activities, and effectively communicate results, observations, and recommendations to relevant team members.
- Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot process-related issues, implementing corrective actions where appropriate to support safe and productive operations.
- Participate in risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety studies to support continuous improvement and compliance with QHS&E; requirements.

Skills and Experience

- Preferably experienced working in large manufacturing facilities
- High mechanical aptitude
- Proven ability to work both individually and as a member of the team
- Outstanding communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (preferable)
- Manual drivers licence (preferable)
- Forklift licence (preferable)
- Ability to pass a drug screening test (mandatory)
