About the Role
As a Graduate Accountant, you'll gain practical experience across taxation, business advisory and compliance while working closely with senior team members.
Your responsibilities will include
- Preparing financial statements and statutory documents using our accounting systems
- Assisting with the compliance requirements of companies, trusts and other business entities
- Preparing and lodging
- Income Tax Returns
- Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) Returns
- Payroll Tax
- Preparing and maintaining high-quality work papers and supporting documentation
- Liaising with third parties to obtain information and resolve queries
- Contributing positively to the team's productivity and supporting colleagues where required
- Following firm procedures and maintaining quality control standards
About You
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys problem solving and takes pride in producing quality work.
Ideally you will have
- A degree (or be in your final year) in Accounting or a related discipline
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A commitment to providing excellent client service
